Brigham Pond - 7-26-2014

Brigham Pond is one of those ponds you see that make your mouth water. It has all the things a bass fisherman is looking for. Lily pads, underwater points that provide deep(er) water next to shallow flats, coves with cover in the back .... just one major thing missing..... FISH!!
Fished for 6 hours there today and caught one small pickerel and one small bass.
Caught them both on a small Yamamoto pumpkin grub. The pickerel was a lazy strike, I thought it was a snag on a weed..... caught the bass while I was laying out my spinning reel line to get the twists out.
I like getting out and finding new places to fish and then go to them a few more times before looking for a new place to experience.
In the case of Brigham Pond, I'm going to forgo the secondary visits and step on the the next pond.
